My dears, it feels like summer doesn’t really want to come to Hamburg this year – but I still don’t want to miss out on all my favorite seasonal treats! In my last post, I introduced you to almonds as one of the best summer snacks, and today I’ve got three simple, ice-cold snack ideas for you: Fro-yo Bites, Frozen Grapes, and Frozen Melon “Popsicles.” They each take five minutes to prep (max!) and then four hours to freeze before they’re ready to enjoy. It just doesn’t get any easier than this. Fro-Yo Bites

Fro-Yo Bites, which you can find in my book Zuckerfrei, take just a tad more effort than the other two snacks – but you still don’t need more than five minutes. :-)

To make 10–12 bites, simply blend or purée 150 g of Greek yogurt or vegan coconut yogurt, 50 g of raspberries, and 1 generous pinch of ground vanilla.* Spoon mixture into ice cube molds* and freeze for at least four hours. Remove from molds and serve immediately.

I just couldn’t resist these cute unicorn ice cube molds!* ;-)  Frozen Grapes

So simple, but so damn good! Frozen grapes are my favorite summer snack. Just wash the grapes, transfer them to a sealable container, and let chill in the freezer for at least four hours. Finished!

Frozen Melon “Popsicles”

Whether it’s on a stick or just on its own: frozen melon is the best thing ever! Simply cut the melon into pieces, insert a wooden stick, and freeze for at least for hours in a large container (I use FÖRTROLIG from IKEA). Done!

Have fun and enjoy the summer! :-)
