Today I have a super simple basic recipe for you: Banana Oatmeal Cookies! For a second there, I was actually wondering if it’s too simple – but I decided to share it anyway. :-) Because not only is it quick and easy to make, it’s also a basic recipe that’s super versatile. Did I mention the cookies are also crazy good? Chewy, hearty, and flavorful with just the perfect touch of sweetness!

Feel free to add cinnamon, vanilla, chopped nuts, sliced almonds, shredded coconut, raisins, or chopped prunes, dried apricots, and/or other dried fruits.

Two-Ingredient Banana Oatmeal Cookies

  • 2 bananas ripe
  • 100 g oat flakes*
  1. Preheat oven to 175°C (top and bottom heat).
  2. Peel bananas and mash with a fork. Combine with oats. Form into cookies using your hands.
  3. Spread cookies over baking tray lined with baking paper and bake in preheated oven for 20 minutes.
