PROMOTION You may have already noticed if you follow me on social media, but this past Friday and Saturday I was in Austria to hold a workshop with German natural body products brand Kneipp. Specifically, we were at the Green Spa Resort Stanglwirt in the tiny town of Going am Wilden Kaiser in the Kitzbühel Alps. So what were we doing there? Find out below! :-)

Since I’m a seaside kind of girl that’s never been particularly drawn to the mountains, this was actually my very first visit to Tyrol! I have to admit that my feelings have totally changed since staying at the Stanglwirt. First of all, the drive from Munich into the Alps was so incredibly beautiful! The mountains and streams and rivers – all visible from the road – reminded me of my road trip last year through California and Yosemite National Park.

Kneipp invited me to the workshop as the on-site nutritionist – not just as a participant. On Friday evening I cooked three Clean Eating dishes with a group of other bloggers, and on Saturday I prepared food for everyone.

In attendance were the following YouTubers and bloggers (apart from Manuela from Kneipp and myself, from left to right): Andrea MorgensternElla the Bee, Joanna from Liebesbotschaft, Vania from Kind of Rosy, Franziska from Veggie Love, Jess from Alabaster Blogzine, und Kim Lianne.

On Friday evening we cooked the following dishes together as a group:

 Friday Dinner

  • Appetizer: Risotto Balls with Spinach and Feta
  • Main: Asparagus String Bean Stir-Fry with Potatoes and Homemade Hollandaise Sauce
  • Dessert: Strawberry Rhubarb Crumble

Unfortunately, since I was working the whole time, I don’t have any more photos! ;-)

The next morning, we had breakfast in the hotel. The selection was amazing and everything was delicious! Overall, I can only recommend staying at the Stanglwirt and will be coming back for sure! Especially since I had no time to relax in the spa, go for a hike, visit the Lipizzaner horses …

At breakfast I got to know Lou and Jan from Fit Trio, who did had led the participants through a round of exercise earlier that morning.

Afterward, I started in on making lunch – here was my view from the kitchen:

And here are the Clean Eating dishes I made for the participants:

Saturday Picnic Lunch:

  • Main: Green Millet Salad
  • Beverage: Green Smoothie
  • Snack: Cranberry Vanilla Energy Balls
  • Dessert: Strawberry Banana Dessert with Apple Cinnamon Buckwheat Granola

The recipes for the Cranberry Vanilla Energy Balls and the Apple Cinnamon Buckwheat Granola will be posted in the coming weeks, so keep an eye out! :-)

I personally love Kneipp products (especially the bath crystals)! That alone made me super excited about this cooperation – but apart from that, the weekend was just awesome! Many thanks to Kneipp, Liganova, and Jung von Matt for the collaboration! :-)
