Today I’m excited to share five awesome tips and hacks for all you Green Smoothie fans. These suggestions are designed with the more experienced Green Smoothie drinker in mind, so if you’re still new to Green Smoothies, check out this post on how to avoid rookie mistakes first.

Here’s how to take your Green Smoothie game to the next level:

1. Prep smoothie packs in advance

Don’t have time in the morning to stand around the kitchen chopping up fruits and vegetables, but still can’t bear to go without your beloved Green Smoothie? Then give yourself a block of time when things are bit calmer to prep and freeze large quantities of fruits and veggies in portioned containers. In the morning, simply remove from the freezer, add your liquid and superfoods, and blend!

2. Freeze your greens

Kale season’s over and you can’t find fresh spinach at the supermarket? Frozen is okay here! You can also freeze greens in bulk by blending in advance, portioning into ice cube trays,* then using as needed.

3. Make Green Smoothie Popsicles

Blended up too much Green Smoothie and can’t drink it all? Just pour the rest into popsicle molds, freeze for 3–4 hours, and enjoy!

4. Spice things up

Want to kick things up a notch? Throw in some spices like cinnamon, cardamom, nutmeg, or vanilla.

5. Get some healthy fats in

If you’re feeling bold, try adding nourishing coconut oil,* flax oil, or nut butter to your Green Smoothie (about 1 tsp per serving).
